Chris Winters
Operations Team Leader

My job is to make sure the night operation runs smoothly when the papers hit the floor. It's a fast running shift and a fantastic learning opportunity if you want to progress your career. Things are always changing, such as sending out new items such as parcels, bread, milk and wine, as well as newspapers and magazines. It can be challenging, but I love throwing myself in, testing my abilities and learning from the people around me. It's a great atmosphere and a different scenario every night. The people I work with are passionate about the job - there's a real "all in it together" mentality.

Sam Deane
General Manager

I first joined Tuffnells as a school leaver. It gave me a fantastic insight into the parcel industry, which turned out to be the foundation for a successful career. Little did I know that 28 years later I would be back again! I am so glad I did. I really enjoy my role and the influence I have to achieve the results we need. We're a fast-paced business that's continuously evolving, and we do need to step up the pace at times. But, I love a challenge! What I enjoy most is creating a working environment that's clean, tidy and great to work in - but at the same time professional. I also strive to make a positive difference to people's lives, not only at work but also at home. After all, most people just want to feel valued.

Ekrimina Arik
Twilight Shift Team Leader

I joined in 2017 because I was looking for an opportunity to improve my skills and knowledge and to advance my career with a specialist distributor. I really enjoy working for the company. We're changing and adapting as the business grows, so it's an interesting and fast-paced environment where every day's different and full of challenges. As a management team, we have to keep up to date with what's required from day-to-day to the long-term. The senior management are friendly and helpful and we all work as a team to move things forward.

Paul Latham
General Manager

What I love about the business is the passion for newspapers and magazines alongside the desire to develop our home-grown Pass My Parcel service. Although we work hard, I really enjoy working with my colleagues. We take pride in what we do, how we do it and the service we deliver. My team are as passionate as I am about delivering world class service to our customers and looking for what we can do better. It's also rewarding to provide learning experiences at all levels and seeing people come up through the ranks. After all, that's how I progressed through the organisation.
